"Élasis and en-DYNA: Efficient ECU Development"
Élasis, member of the FIAT-Group, deployes en-DYNA for developing their engine control devices (ECUs) cost-saving and efficiently.

Oliver Philipp's lecture at the SAE Conference in Detroit mainly showed Élasis' experiences on this development process. Philipp explained Élasis' demands on developing an ECU and presented their implementation by using the technical features of en-DYNA. Particularly, the development time could be much reduced using the en-DYNA model within the analysing phase and testing the ECU in real-time at the HIL testbench in the testing phase.

Read more details in the SAE Conference Paper about using en-DYNA.

"License Request via the Web"
With delivery of the new version en-DYNA 1.4 we offer an optimised license service. As of now you have the possibility to request your licenses via the internet.

We thus have prepared a form which you just need to fill out and to send to TESIS DYNAware per every license you would like to obtain. To do this, it is necessary to get your contact address and information about your computer. Afterwards we will send you the license via Email. In order to generate the license code we need to have an order in advance.

Make use of the direct way via the internet to get your licenses sooner!

TESIS PLMware Logo"TESIS WAMware CAE Consulting GmbH is now named TESIS PLMware GmbH"
Software and services for product development in the manufacturing industry is our offer. In the last years one word has been established - "PLM" or also "Product Lifecycle Management". Therefore we decided to replace the name-part WAMware by PLMware. Our aim is to point out what kind of business we are providing within the TESIS group.

Our established business relationship will remain unchanged. With the name TESIS PLMware GmbH we will remain as your contract partner; no changes or amendments of already made agreements will occur. Address and contact persons will also remain the same. Therefore we kindly ask you to keep our customer and supplier number and to change only the new company name in your files.

We are looking forwared to an ongoing good cooperation with you and your company.

Management of TESIS PLMware GmbH

"10 years of software development and services for high-flying companies"
The TESIS group of companies was founded in 1992 as a software and engineering services enterprise with the mission to push software and IT process design and development to a new level. Today we are pleased with the organisational development and growth TESIS has achieved which is primarily due to you, our customers and partners, who have trusted us throughout the past 10 years.

We would like to thank all our customers and partners for many common projects whose results were successfully put into use by our joint efforts. At the same time we are looking forward to a continued and equally successful partnership.

In a world of shifting challenges and goals one constant remains: We will continue to accompany you on your way into the future by providing competent and reliable consulting, software and services in all areas around automation and security in large-scale IT administration, integrated product development and real-time simulation of the virtual car.

"Migration of models from en-DYNA 1.2  to en-DYNA 1.3"
Our latest version, en-DYNA1.3, offers many new features and enhancements especially in the pre-processing and data handling. It has unfortunately been necessary to make changes in the Simulink library blocks and the latest en-DYNA version is therefore not compatible with older versions. Because the migration process from en-DYNA1.2 to en-DYNA1.3 models is not automatic, we have formulated the following circular to help the customer perform.

"A Fuel Wall Wetting Model for Real-Time Applications"
In real-time capable simulations of port-injection spark-ignition engines during transient operation, the fuel wall wetting process must be considered. The effect of fuel spray and wall wetting are presented and a well known phenomenological model is discussed. Focus is layed on the parametrisation based on standard measurement data.

"Animation demo of veDYNA vehicle simulation"
This is a rendered animation of a veDYNA vehicle simulation. The maneuver performed is an ISO double lane change at 80km/h. Similar animations can be performed by converting veDYNAs output animation data into formats used in MotionDesk, Internet Browsers, Cinema4D, etc.

"Vehicle Modelling for Real Time Applications - Prof. Dr. G. Rill"
The paper presents the theoretical basis of the vedyna vehicle model, especially with respect to hardware or software in the loop techniques. It is shown that adopting the generation of the equations of motion to the specific problems in vehicle dynamics and using a modified implicit Euler formalism for the numerical solution yields an enhanced yet real time capable model. more

"High Performance Scientific and Engineering Computing"
The book is a state-of-the-art overview on high performance computing (HPC) activities to solve scientific and/or engineering problems on supercomputers. This topic has evolved to a key technology playing an important role in determining, or at least shaping, future research and development activities in many branches of industry. The main topics include the development of advanced numerical methods, parallel computing techniques, grid generation, and visualization. Applications of these techniques are directed to fluid dynamics, turbulence, combustion and porous media related flows, computational structural dynamics, material sciences, chemical engineering, dynamic systems, optimal control, and optimization of electronic circuits. The book includes 44 contributions from renowned international experts in the field of HPC and its applications.

"Tyre parameter fitting of MF-Tyre to TM-Easy"
In order to give the user the option to use MF-Tyre data sets (magic formula) in ve-DYNA,
this tool offers a conversion to the TM-Easy data format.
In addition to this, the ve-DYNA add-on can be used to edit TM-Easy data sets.

Fast user defined conversion with automatic fitting to the four TM-Easy road types
Interactive postprocessing of converted data sets
Graphical representation of MF-Tyre and TM-Easy data sets
Editing of TM-Easy data sets for up to four road types (dry, damp, wet, icy)
This tool is also available without the conversion option (TM-Easy editor)

"More than 100 en-DYNA® & ve-DYNA® Installations worldwide"
TESIS DYNAware has strengthened its Marketpositioning. There are more than 100 installations of Hardware in the Loop & Software in the Loop Teststands realised, for development as well as the test of  Electronic Control Units with
en-DYNA & ve-DYNA.

"Fuel information and management system"
A fuel information and management system is operational at a customer of TESIS since a few weeks. The intranet part was developed byTesis for this project. The techniques used are Java Server Pages and Enterprise Java Beans. TESIS also collect fuel and configuration data and distribute this data to all clients. The oracle replication mechanism is therefore used. About 385000 datasets and 16600 Users are managed.

"Virtual Repository"
Connecting the Web to Repositories using frameworks. The technologies used run from generating XML-Streams to techniques that can access data platform-independent from several sources such as databases, repositories or case-tools.

So far only one repository-interface is used to access data using Java Server Pages. At the moment an information system is being developed, that can represent data autonomously.
The future lies with „virtual repository“ in which the User only has to start a request and the system shows him all hits of any kind of data storage system like data-warehouses, case-tools or databases.
"TESIS/PWR"
TESIS/Password Reset (PWR) is a client/server application with an intranet front-end (Java applet) for the automatic and secure password reset in a variety of computer and application systems. TESIS/PWR enables the user to keep downtimes and expenses to a minimum in the event of forgotten passwords.

"TESIS WAMware signs partner agreement with SAP®"
TESIS WAMware GmbH signed a partner agreement with SAP AG in November 2000, encompassing the resale of the I-deas Integration in SAP R/3 and SAP PLM by SAP AG. Starting with the release of the next SAP price list, customers will be able to buy the I-deas Integration directly from SAP, as well as have the software maintained under their SAP maintenance contract which allows for problem resolution through SAP standard procedures (OSS). TESIS WAMware will continue to offer software customization, modification and consulting for the I-deas integration as well as consulting for SAP PLM. This agreement is a further milestone in the relationship between SAP and TESIS WAMware, after the first certification for the software by SAP occurred in October 1997. A number of customers have implemented the software since then. For our customers, this agreement means added security for their investments through the close coordination between SAP and TESIS WAMware in development and consulting around the I-deas Integration as well as SAP PLM.
