"Vehicle Dynamics Models for HIL Simulation"
One method to reduce the ECU testing time drastically is to use hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation. Therefore, DENSO CORP., Japan, is about to build up an HIL simulator for the test of its vehicle dynamics control systems. However, such a test can only be as accurate as the underlying vehicle model. Download here (denso.pdf ca. 95kb).

TESIS SYSware

"Fuel information and management system"
A fuel information and management system is operational at a customer of TESIS since a few weeks. The intranet part was developed byTesis for this project. The techniques used are Java Server Pages and Enterprise Java Beans. TESIS also collect fuel and configuration data and distribute this data to all clients. The oracle replication mechanism is therefore used. About 385000 datasets and 16600 Users are managed.

"Virtual Repository"
Connecting the Web to Repositories using frameworks. The technologies used run from generating XML-Streams to techniques that can access data platform-independent from several sources such as databases, repositories or case-tools.

So far only one repository-interface is used to access data using Java Server Pages. At the moment an information system is being developed, that can represent data autonomously.
The future lies with „virtual repository“ in which the User only has to start a request and the system shows him all hits of any kind of data storage system like data-warehouses, case-tools or databases.

"Access-Server Release 1.5.0"
The Access-Server is now available in the 1.5.0 release. Additionally to the already available data also names, first names and Email addresses of external partners are supplied now. The Access-Server also takes over the central assignment of new staff IDs and ensures an accelerated operational sequence and increases safety by the possibility of the assignment of initial passwords.
"TESIS Passwort Reset (TESIS/PWR)"
The first Version of the TESIS/PWR is now in production. Herewith every employee can reset his password on his own by an intranet application. All he needs is the confirmation of two colleagues. Immediately after the reset he is able to sign on to any system that is integrated in the Single Sign On (SSO).
The TESIS/PWR disburden the Hotlines and takes care of an cheap, secure and  revisable passwort reset.
"TESIS/PWR"
TESIS/Password Reset (PWR) is a client/server application with an intranet front-end (Java applet) for the automatic and secure password reset in a variety of computer and application systems. TESIS/PWR enables the user to keep downtimes and expenses to a minimum in the event of forgotten passwords.

"Employees@TESIS SYSware"
Four new employees joined the TESIS SYSware since October 2000. Up to April two more employees will enforce our team.
This makes it possible for us to offer you the known high standard of support and the further development of our products.

"ZUV Workshop"
On the occasion of the about 220.000 administrated workstations for the approximately 70 000 Users the TESIS SYSware invited to a ZUV-Workshop. Thereby the history, the present and the future of the Central User Management – ZUV was analysed. Beside the responsible persons for the BMW AG Access-management , users and developer and those, who were considerably involved in the development of the ZUV the past, were invited. The Workshop rounded off by a small Catering, in whose process it  came to a lively discussion, which supplied many suggestions for the future of the ZUV.

"Central User Administration ZUV"
The ZUV has exceeded the admission limit of 200 000 administered workstations for the approximately 70 000 Users. The 200 000 administered workstation are presently spread over 100 administered applications in host systems and the decentralised systems.
"ZUV / NT – Integration Phase 2"
The Concept for the second Phase of the ZUV/NT-Integration is done. User data modification, SSO integration, Quota administration  as well a large transactionmodel is the main feature of the second phase. The transactionmodel is implemented as a platform independent intranet application which allows monitoring and execution of several procedures.
"LDAP Interface released on OS/390"
OS/390 applications are enabled to make use of groupware services provided by LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). An Interface Module has been created which can be bound to existing applications. As an example it is possible to extract e-mail addresses according to a given user list and hence prepare the automatic mail delivery. For instant use a complete standalone LDAP application, which can be configured in many ways, is being provided on OS/390.
"Automatic and Secure Password Reset (ASPR)"
The first version of our ASPR will be installed at the BMW AG these days. Therewith a fully automated and secure password reset is possible by using an intranet interface. A sophisticated security system in combination with an extensive protocol provides for a high secure standard.
"News @ Single Sign On"
New NT-Agent Version 3.0.2. The new Version fixes problems with Windows NT has been released recently.
A standalone SSO-Server is planed. This will allow a platform independent implementation of the maintask.

"News @ Central User Administration - ZUV"
An interface to the ARS of the Remedy Cooperation has been integrated . This allows an automatic notification- and workflow system.
ZUV-NT-Integration Step 2
- modification of the user data
- concept for an periodical synchronization
- password synchronization with the SSO on applying new NT-accounts

"Passwort Reset System"
The Password Reset System is a complete automated system to reset password on the variously systems. Realized as an intranet application with interface to different authentication systems you can reset passwords by the administrator or by two colleagues (4-eye-principle). TripleDES / RSA encryption and an extensive documentation provides security.

"New Systems integrated in the Central User Administration - ZUV"
The Central User Administration now provides also an interface function to VENUS and Windows NT. The VENUS-Interface allows you to administrate networked UNIX-Systems almost total automated.

"FEBA Version 4.2 is released"
FEBA, the reliable programme packet for execution of fault tree analyses, is now available in version 4.2.
"New Agents for TESIS SSO released"
The Lotus Notes agent attaches Lotus Notes to the TESIS SSO system. Password changes on the host are automatically propagated to the different subsystems. With this newly available agent, Lotus Notes becomes one of these subsystems.

"TESIS WAMware signs partner agreement with SAP®"
TESIS WAMware GmbH signed a partner agreement with SAP AG in November 2000, encompassing the resale of the I-deas Integration in SAP R/3 and SAP PLM by SAP AG. Starting with the release of the next SAP price list, customers will be able to buy the I-deas Integration directly from SAP, as well as have the software maintained under their SAP maintenance contract which allows for problem resolution through SAP standard procedures (OSS). TESIS WAMware will continue to offer software customization, modification and consulting for the I-deas integration as well as consulting for SAP PLM. This agreement is a further milestone in the relationship between SAP and TESIS WAMware, after the first certification for the software by SAP occurred in October 1997. A number of customers have implemented the software since then. For our customers, this agreement means added security for their investments through the close coordination between SAP and TESIS WAMware in development and consulting around the I-deas Integration as well as SAP PLM.
