TESIS/WebSSO (Single Sign On for web applications) 

TESIS WebSSO provides Single Sign Sn (SSO) for web applications. In a network of several application servers that means, a user will only have to authenticate once to access secured areas, no matter which server the user is contacting. To achieve pure Single Sign On WebSSO uses a mechanism known as cookie-based authentication and consists of two main components: the WebSSO Module and the WebSSO Authentication Server. Both parts are implemented using leading industry standards such as JavaTM, the JavaTM Servlet API 2.3 and the JavaTM Authentication and Authorization Service (JAAS). Therefore TESIS WebSSO will work with any application server that supports these technologies.
