TESIS - The Beginnings

The corporate history of TESIS SYSware begins more or less with the founding of the current parent company TESIS, Gesellschaft für Technische Simulation und Software mbH, in the year 1992. Back then, the TESIS company encompassed the three business divisions Multi-body Simulation, CAD/CAM, and EDP Center Automation. All three divisions were run as independent profit centers within TESIS and - due to the rapid growth of the company - were subsequently spun off into separate corporations with limited liability in 1996/97. From then on, TESIS GmbH continued to operate as a kind of holding company. Today, TESIS' task is the provision of an enterprise-wide infrastructure to the three subsidiaries and the optimal exploitation of potential synergies among the individual business units.
